Basketball is a well-loved HSSC sport. We play 4-on-4 basketball in a fun, high-energy and fast-paced setting every week – emphasis on FUN! You can sign up to play in a recreational or intermediate division as a team, individual or an individual with friends!

Players need to bring their sneakers and a team ball and HSSC will take care of the rest!

Play basketball on Mondays and Tuesday nights
Basketball games are 55-minutes with rotating start times
Basketball is played in gyms across Halifax and Dartmouth. Some of our main gyms are (but not limited to) Armbrae Academy, East Dartmouth Community Centre, Woodlawn High School, Gorsebrook Jr. High School, LeMarchant School, Dartmouth South Academy, and more!
Rosters & Schedules will be available to registered players at least two days prior to your first game
Register as a team, an individual or an individual with teammate requests

Skill Division & Roster

Recreational and Intermediate leagues offered

HSSC will assemble individual teams and you will be encouraged to connect with your teammates via your team portal prior to your first game.
All leagues are mixed gender and teams must always play with a minimum of 1 man and 1 woman on the court

All leagues are self-officiated.
