Most Sport & Social Club sports require equipment.

Sometimes equipment is provided onsite, and other times you will need to bring your own equipment.  Wondering how to get equipment?  

  • For some sports you can rent equipment from us…
  • For other sports you might purchase your own equipment…
  • And other people may already have equipment or want to purchase or borrow it locally…

This site is designed to help you understand the various options available to you.


If you registered as a full team, check with your captain who is responsible for your team’s equipment needs.  If you’re the captain, you’re in the right place to learn about all the ways you can secure equipment for the coming season.   

If you are an individual registrant (playing with others you have not yet met), please take the time to email your teammates to find out if equipment is needed.  Then nominate someone to take the lead and follow the chart below to secure equipment for the season (rent, purchase, borrow, etc.)


The following sports have rental equipment options (that means you can bring your own or choose to make a refundable deposit and rent the equipment from us):

  • Dodgeball (two x 7” dodgeballs) – $100.00 refundable deposit
  • Softball (set of throw-down softball bases, catcher’s mask, three softballs) – $100.00 refundable deposit
  • Ultimate (frisbee, six cones) – $25.00 refundable deposit
  • Flag Football (football, set of team flags, six cones) – $100.00 refundable deposit
  • Field Soccer (Kickster net, soccer ball, six cones) – $250.00 refundable deposit

How do I rent equipment for my team? 
Click the orange button and use the registration function (click “individual” to see the equipment options).  Then make a fully refundable equipment deposit using your credit card.  You’ll get to borrow the equipment from us for the season, and when you return it, we will give you a refund of your equipment deposit. Rented equipment must be picked up during one of our scheduled Equipment Pick-Up Sessions – scroll down for dates + times (put these in your calendar!)

LATE FEES APPLY:  Equipment Rentals must be secured with deposit by the date of the final Equipment Pick-Up (listed below).  Equipment rented after this point will be subject to a $30.00 late-fee.  Equipment rented late will be the responsibility of the team captain (or representative) to pick up at a mutually agreed upon spot.

Equipment Return & Pick-Up
Sunday, January 14th from 10am-12pm at Metro Self Storage (2618 Clifton St.)
Tuesday, January 23rd from 8-9pm at Armbrae Academy

Plan ahead – these locations are pop-up events and HSSC staff do not work at these locations. We will NOT be at these locations outside these dates and hours. Multiple days are offered to accommodate as many members as possible. We kindly ask that members pick up their equipment ahead of their game day to avoid any rush from one location to another.
