Pickleball is one of North America’s FASTEST growing sports! Join our HSSC Pickleball to find out what all the hype is about or to get your weekly pickleball fix!

HSSC’s Pickleball programing offers both introductory classes and league offerings! We’re adding more programs every season!

This combination of programming will bring you up to speed and ready to compete with your friends or co-workers already enjoying the sport.

There are two options to choose from:

Join us on Wednesday evenings for a league style of play! Teams of 2 will battle it out over 12-weeks to be crowned Halifax Sport & Social Club Pickleball Champions!

Or join for an introductory class on Wednesday evenings with the Atlantic Tennis Centre.

HIGHLIGHTS + LeAGUE DETAILS

Wednesdays are for pickleball (stay tuned, more nights may be added)
Teams of 2 players (open gender) should register and will play two 40-minute matches per night. Each match consists of 3 sets to 11 points.
Pickleball is played in gyms across Dartmouth and Halifax. Some of our main gyms are (but are not limited to) NSCC Akerley, Armbrae Academy, and Chebucto Heights Elementary School
Mid-September to mid-December
Schedules will be available to registered players at least two days prior to your first game

Skill Division & Roster

Pickleball is offered at the recreational skill level
No individual registration options are available at this time
All leagues are open-gender and teams of two can be comprised of any gender
Open Gender: There are no minimum gender requirements. Players participate freely without restrictions existing as to how many players of each gender are on the court.
