Swing and kick for the fences this season and enjoy all the fun of HSSC Softball and Kickball!

Softball and Kickball are some of HSSC’s most popular and most fun sport. What can be better than playing ball outside with your friends? HSSC softball is played for 7 innings (or 75 minutes) with an emphasis on batting and getting hits! To help everyone get a chance to get a hit we pitch to our own teams and swing for the fences!

HIGHLIGHTS + LeAGUE DETAILS

Softball is played 7 days a week in Halifax!! Monday-Thursday will sell out quickly and there are great options Friday-Sunday.
Kickball is played on Wednesdays at Cunard Jr. High and Grosvenor Wentworth Jr. High.
Softball and Kickball games are 75-minutes.
Softball is played on diamonds across Dartmouth and Halifax. Some of our main diamonds are (but are not limited to) Halifax Commons, Dartmouth Commons, Graves Oakley Memorial Park, Rockingstone Diamond, John MacNeil Elementary School, Superstore Diamond, Maybank Diamond, and Lakeside Diamond
Games are played at 6:00 and 7:15 until late-August when game times are adjusted earlier due to early sunset.
Rosters & Schedules will be available to registered players at least two days prior to your first game
Sign up to play as a team, an individual or an individual with teammate requests

Skill Division & Roster

Softball is offered with a recreational and intermediate division
Kickball is offered at the recreational skill level
HSSC will assemble individual teams and you will be encouraged to connect with your teammates via your team portal prior to your first game.
All leagues are mixed gender and teams must always play with a minimum of 3 women and 3 men on the field.

Each team is required to bring equipment: 1 set of bases, 1 catchers mask and 3 balls (available to rent with HSSC).
